If you have just started, Keep posting new articles (Min.1/week)
Don't Focus much on SEO, Focus on Content. Try to deliver best from you.
What I am observing from this forum is, the day people start their site, they are blindly running behind SEO and wasting their important time which can be use for writing better content.
Slowly learn basic of SEO and always try to implement your learning in post or page SEO. Remember, You can always update your article or update SEO anytime.
Focus on building good followers on Social sites, Build email list. Initially go with Mailchimp or Awber free account.
There is no magic key that you can apply and your site ranks on first page.
Patient and Passion is the only fuel which will help you to reach your milestone.
